We've talked about what Luxe is. Now let's talk about who Luxe is! 



Stacie & Sonny Velez

Owners 

Stacie and Sonny, a dynamic husband/wife duo, started Luxe with a dream: a self-storage experience that was bigger and simply better. They have owned enough RVs and boats to understand exactly where the pain points in storing travel equipment lie. With a thoughtful approach and a more intelligent design from the start, they realized they could offer an experience that gives owners more than what they need—more space, more comfort, and more amenities.

Stacie and Sonny are known to family and friends as relentlessly driven. When they set their minds to something, they give it their all. The planning and construction process was immense, given the high expectations for the facility. Although it was far from easy, they were happy to invest every bit of time and effort into keeping the Luxe dream alive.

They are big on family, in many ways. With four kids and seven grandkids, they have an innate desire to care for the people close to them. "Every day, they remind me why I do it all," Stacie says. "Everyone is proud of their kids; it's the same thing. But whatever life throws at us, I'll always work hard and make it work for them."

Both are multi-business owners who love entrepreneurship. In their spare time, they visit their four kids and seven grandkids or spend time in West Florida, where Sonny enjoys fishing and boating. Stacie, who once owned a restaurant, is a multi-faceted and amazing cook (much to the delight of their employees during business meetings!).


DiMaggio

Director of Technology/Multimedia, Customer Experience Coordinator

DiMaggio joined Stacie and Sonny's team in early 2022, assisting with technology and communication in any way possible. he happily joined the Luxe project in early 2023, immediately taking on anything he could help with. With a passion for helping people and a varied background in making technology work better for them, DiMaggio strives to create a customer experience that reflects the values the owners built Luxe with—from the initial inquiry to move-in. 

"I see every person I get to interact with as an opportunity to help," DiMaggio says. "Nothing that God makes happen is a coincidence." He goes out of his way to make sure that every Luxe caller has their needs met in any way possible. When he's not talking with customers, he is a willing learner, and will dive into just about any task. He's served in a variety of roles at Luxe: from programming and content creation to copywriting and design, and beyond. Whatever tools Luxe uses, he stretches them to make everyone's life as easy as possible.

In spare time, DiMaggio loves to write and play music, and tinker with software.

Jeffrey

Director of Project Coordination and Outreach

Jeffrey has been with Luxe since early 2023, making sure everything gets done. With extensive experience working with construction contractors, Jeffrey is in constant communication with all the people and businesses needed to make a project like Luxe happen. He was instrumental to the property's construction, ensuring the right people were involved at the right time, and overseeing all the work done. A wizard with social media, he gets the word out about Luxe to our customers, too.

"Nothing is done by just one person," Jeffrey says. "It takes an army of people to make the biggest things happen—and I'm happy to be the point of contact with each of them." Every day, Jeffrey stays in touch with everyone, constantly, and is often on the front lines of decision-making as new challenges arise. He's the perfect person for the task. With a huge network of like-minded, problem-solving individuals, Jeffrey knows how to assemble and implement a massive team that produces results quickly—all while handling their questions.

Jeffrey is an avid sports fan with two young children, and coaches in his spare time. You'll often find him at a ball game—whether it's his kids playing or taking them to see the pros play.
